FOCUS Assessment

The Focus assessment helps parents and teachers understand the challenges and behaviours the individual is presenting with. A true AHA moment! The FOCUS CPT Test measures several aspects (called constructs) that influence Attentional Control. You will be fully trained and accredited to perform the test and discuss the report with parents and teachers. The FOCUS CPT is a scientific test that has been standardised and validated.

Presenting Study method Courses

By joining our the team, you will gain the knowledge and expertise needed to confidently present a comprehensive study method course designed for students aged 10 to 15 years and their parents. Our courses can be presented in either group settings or through personalized one-on-one sessions.

Skills Development

Our skills development center is a one-of-a-kind facility that should not be mistaken for a mere homework center. Here, children have the opportunity to put into practice the study method skills they have acquired during the initial course. When they arrive at the center, they bring along the materials covered in their classes that day. Under your expert guidance, they begin the process of practicing and implementing these newfound skills.

The guidance provided to children as they practice and establish a habit of using these skills is of utmost importance. Our focus is on ensuring that they receive the necessary support and encouragement to fully integrate these techniques into their study routine.

Teach and help develop executive function skills

While it is crucial to address various study methods, it is equally important to recognize and develop students' overall study skills. As an instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach children essential executive function skills such as planning, organization, time management, and more. These skills are vital for nurturing well-rounded students who excel in their studies.

Additionally, we offer a separate course specifically designed for older children, focusing on the development and enhancement of these executive function skills. By providing instruction in these areas, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students to become successful and accomplished learners.

As a SACE accredited provider, Karin and Marlize conduct teacher trainings and deliver training to the Department of Education on a national level. Their extensive experience and qualifications make them highly sought-after professionals in the education field.

The course they have developed and present has been honed and perfected over the course of almost 11 years. Their unwavering dedication to creating an amazing course with the child in mind has led to a truly outstanding program.
